Thanks to the great people at The James Brindley Hospital School in Birmingham and St James House for this shoot for a book to be published by Cambridge University. Hope all my subjects are now feeling a lot better.
Poundland needed some studio shots and some lifestyle shots. Here are some of the results…

So…sRAW is not recognised in Aperture, but works fine in Bridge. What are you playing at Apple? Also, whilst I’m picking bones, do something about the bug in Aperture which means that ALL RAW files export to Mobile Me at 72dpi. However - one version of Aperture works fine for me and another not good. How does that happen? If you want pro photographers to take Aperture seriously you need to iron this out. There’s a lot for us to like about Aperture - I won’t bother listing - but everything needs to work.
Just taken delivery of a new Canon 1Ds Mk111. 21 megapixels. Judging by the last job (Poundland) fantastic resolution, although it was a little slow in RAW writing files to the buffer. I may need to invest in some faster CF cards or shoot in sRAW, a handy function producing files at 14.5 megapixels.
Phil called me on Sunday 17th. “Want to make a Party Election Broadcast?” he said. “Only trouble is we’ve got until Friday to do it…”
Now that’s the type of challenge I know we both like…
Phil = Cooyah by the way.
For those of you who didn’t know I did video as well.
Thanks to Final Cut Pro, Phil, Brian and Ben.

Saturday 16th May. Venue: Molesey, Surrey. Open Day for the good people of the Henrietta Parker Centre. I’ve done a number of shoots now for Surrey ACL and Bottle. It’s always great fun working in the classrooms with the learners - seeing what they are up to.
Thanks to the M40, M25 and M3.

Phew! Busy couple of weeks. Haven’t had a chance to update the blog, so here goes.
Henley. Pimms, rowing, The Regatta and a new venue - The Henley River and Rowing Museum for some shots for Jo Love (Love Communications) and Oxfordshire Business and Education Partnership at the end of May.
Thanks to the kind people at the museum for letting me shoot in one of the exhibition rooms and thanks to Photoshop and Aperture again.
Didn’t get a chance to look around the museum too much but will definitely be back.
